GiroPay is a direct online bank transfer with immediate response. Giropay, which is supported by the German Banks Postbank, Sparkassen and Volksbank/Raiffeisenbank allows customers to use their Internet banking facility to pay for purchases whilst online, just as they do with a credit or debit card.
Players who wish to transfer funds via GiroPay are redirected from the cashier to their own bank’s website where they log on and confirm the transaction information using a valid transaction number. To fund your casino account via GiroPay go to the cashier and select GiroPay. Enter your deposit amount and bank account details. The funds come straight out of the account that you have set up. This results in even less time and effort needed to complete the transaction, as registering is not necessary.
GiroPay has partnered with many Dutch, German and Austrian banks to provide the service that it does. All transactions are based on your existing banking PIN code, as well is a transaction number (TAN) which identifies the transaction taking place.
Typically, when making a purchase via GiroPay, the third-party vendors supply a TAN number, which the user enters into GiroPay along with their banking PIN number. From there, GiroPay debits the relevant amount out of user’s account and transfers it to the vendor.
Significantly, the vendor never gets to see the bank account details of their customers.
Giropay is an exceptionally easy system to use, requiring only that you know your banking details and PIN code. You do not have to sign up for a Giropay account in order to use the system.
Simply log in at your favourite online casino, and move to the Cashier section to make a deposit. Select Giropay as your method of choice.
Your casino will then redirect you to the Giropay site, where a form will be waiting. Enter your bank account number and PIN code into it, and your funds will be instantly transferred to the online casino account.
